- Inform clients of any unforeseen issues or delays as early as possible
- Discuss any changes to work specified, or when unexpected costs arise (a ball-park estimate regarding impact on timings and cost can be provided on request)
- Co-ordinate with specialist services e.g. architects, structural engineers, plumbing & heating engineers, electricians
- Co-ordinate with Building Control to carry out inspections and final sign-off for work that requires it
- Have appropriate Public Liability, Employer’s Liability & Contract Works insurance as required for the work being undertaken (copy of certificates can be provided if require )
- Leave the site clean and tidy, properly disposing of waste
- Carry out any ‘snagging’ typically within 4-6 weeks of work being completed
- Guarantee workmanship on all new work and new materials for 1-year after work is completed
